Dr. Rima Staugas
South Australia’s Health Minister John Hill said that Dr. Staugas’ strong clinical background gave her "a unique perspective on managing a health service and hospital". Dr. Staugas said: "Good service planning is critical, and this is where the focus of significant activity will be over the coming year". Dr. Staugas is a clinical lecturer at University of Adelaide and is the president of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand, the first woman and paediatric physician to be so elected.
