Large Lithuanian Contingent for World Masters Games 2009 in Sydney

The 2009 World Masters Games will be held in Sydney 10-18 October 2009. A large contingent of veteran sportsmen from Lithuania will be competing in these games. The Lithuanian sportsmen competing are listed in the link “Lithuanian Competitors” at the bottom of this news item.
After Brisbane (1994) and Melbourne (2002), Sydney is the third Australian city to host the World Masters Games, which have been held every four years since 1985. For the Sydney 2009 Games 25,000 competitors are expected from more than of 100 countries.
