Lithuania Hosts Major Networking Conference

The 26th annual TERENA Networking Conference will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 31 May to 3 June 2010. TERENA is the Trans-European Research and Education Networking Association and the TERENA Networking Conference is the largest and most important European conference in the networking field. The conference attracts over 500 participants from all over Europe and beyond, with leading network experts, mangers and policy makers in attendance. This year's conference theme is "Living the Network Life".
The conference will be hosted by the Academic and Research Network in Lithuania (LITNET) and will be held at the Reval Hotel Lietuva in Vilnius. It is significant that Lithuania has been chosen to host this major international conference. Lithuania’s leading position in broadband technology and its highly developed IT infrastructure, which is one of the best in Europe and the world, makes Lithuania an ideal choice to host such a conference.
