Danutė Jočienė - the Youngest Judge in the European Human Rights Court

Danutė Jočienė from Lithuania was appointed last month as a judge of European Human Rights Court in Strasbourg, France. The 34 year old Danutė Jočienė is the youngest judge in the history of the court.
She is supremely qualified for the post, with a thorough understanding of the European Human Rights Convention, having written a number of books and articles on the subject. Before her appointment Jočienė had acted for time as a representative of the Lithuanian Government before the court.
