Australia’s New Ambassador to Lithuania Appointed

The new Ambassador of Australia to Lithuania is Paul Wesley Stephens. He presented his credentials to President Dalia Grybauskaitë of Lithuania on March 16, 2010. The Ambassador will continue to reside in Sweden. He is the seventh ambassador of Australia to Lithuania since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in November 1991.
Ambassador Stephens has a Master's degree in international relations. He has worked for the Australian Embassy in Brazil and for the Mission at the United Nations. He has been with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade since 2005.
