A New Book by Joan Songaila
Joan Songaila
Joan Songaila has just published her second book - Love, Lies, Laughter and a Few Little Tears – a collection of short stories, which she has co-authored with seven other Gold Coast writers.
Joan Songaila, originally from New Zealand, is married to Australian Lithuanian Juozas Songaila. Both she and her husband have been very active in the Gold Coast Australian Lithuanian Community. A prize winning writer, she has acted as a literary editor for this SLIC website.

Joan has incorporated her knowledge of ‘down under’ history in The Flag That Changed a Nation and Captain Bligh – Sadistic Tyrant or Hero? Both fiction and fact abound in this selection of love, lies and laughter.
