Photo courtesy LTV All in all Lithuanians students did well in the Olympiad, with a further two Bronze medals (by Aistis Atminas and Vytautas Grūstys) and with an Honourable Mention for Gytis Žilinskas. Thus Lithuania in total won 1 Gold, 2 Bronze and 1 Honourable Mention. Following his success at the Olympiad, Kęstutis Česnavičius was voted as the July winner of "Lithuanian Identity (LT Tapatybė)" award, which is bestowed on Lithuanians who best present Lithuania to the world. Australian Lithuanians will be interested to note that in this Olympiad Australia also did well with 1 Silver, 4 Bronze and 1 Honourable Mention, with Matthew Menzies winning the Silver and taking 50th place. ![]()
