| Australian Lithuanians Honoured in Australia Day 2007 Awards |

Mr Algirdas Šimkus OAM
Mrs Alena Karazija from Melbourne, who has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM), for service to the Lithuanian community of Melbourne through cultural and school groups. Senior Sergeant Stephen John Šapauskas from South Australia, who has been awarded the Australian Police Medal (APM). Mr Algirdas Pranas Šimkus from Melbourne, who has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM), for service to the Lithuanian community through cultural, school and youth groups.
