Lithuania’s intrepid yachtsmen aboard the yacht “Ambersail” rounded the legendary Cape Horn at the tip of South America and landed in Ushuaia, in Argentinean part of Tierra del Fuego, early on Saturday morning (Sydney time) on January 14, 2009. After leaving Ushuaia and calling on in the Chilean port of Port Williams to complete immigration formalities, “Ambersail” rounded Cape Horn once more on February 16 (Lithuania’s Independence Day) on its way to next port of call, Berisso in Argentina.
