The original Club was also located in Bankstown, about a kilometer away from the new Club. An ageing community and changing circumstances over the years necessitated selling the old Club premises and seeking something more suitable. The old Club finally closed its doors at the end of November 2005. The new Club now occupies the complete ground floor of a multi-story building in Meredith Street. Before and after the AGM community members had the opportunity to try out the new restaurant "Europa", serving Lithuanian and Australian dishes - many were impressed with the standard of the cuisine. Others sampled refreshments from the bar. Prize winning Lithuanian beers and other Lithuanian liquors will very soon be available at the Club.
