Lithuanian Choreographer Featured in the 19th Sydney Biennale

During the opening week of the 19th Sydney Biennale 18 March - 9 June, 2014, a prominently featured work will be “Choreography for the Running Male” by the Lithuanian artist Eglė Budvytytė. This will involve a group of 16 men starting at the Art Gallery of NSW and jogging through the streets of Sydney’s CBD, demonstrating manly emotions. Budvytytė’s work is promoted by the Biennale as a Special Event and will take place 18 -23 March, 4 - 4.30 pm
Eglė Budvytytė was born in Kaunas, Lithuania in 1981. Her work has been performed in Lithuania and internationally in cities including Paris, Amsterdam, Säo Paulo, Rotterdam, and Toronto.
