was founded in 2011 by three brothers - businessman Dominykas Vizbaras and physicists twins Augustinas and Kristijonas Vizbaras, after Augustinas and Kristijonas had completed their doctorates in Germany, following on from studies in Lithuania and Sweden. The word "brolis" in Lithuanian in fact actually means "brother". Their laboratory in Vilnius was completed in 2012 and was followed by the registration of their first working laser in March 2013.
Brolis Semiconductors are no strangers to international and Lithuanian awards. Earlier awards include Swedish Business Awards (2012) - “Young Entrepreneur of the Year”, Global Lithuanian Awards (2013) - “For bringing back international experience and implemented innovations”, Preis der Deutschen Wirtschaft in Litauen (2013) - “Jungen Unternehmen”
The success of Brolis Semiconductors again illustrates the innovative advanced technology that is now flourishing in Lithuania.
